1972 Simmons 18
I thought I would send a picture of my newly restored 1972 18 footer. The boat spent its life in Georgia, and I bought it off the internet. I hauled it home to Richmond, VA, and with some hull work from Mike Hubbard and lots of coaching from him on the rest, launched the boat in Taylor’s Creek, Beaufort, NC, last August. The boat came complete with all the original paperwork plus Mr. Simmons’ notes on the customer’s original specifications.
